  Most of all, I think, we owe to Mel Gibson that it is very difficult for one to find a single word, which McLeod speaks to Charles without care. We are very grateful to both of them, to James Horner for the soundtrack, and to all the actors and in any way responsibles for making this film - a film, we have to admit, incomparably better than the book which it was based on.
