Summary

  Betsey Trotwood sends Copperfield to Canterbury to take his mind off Dora.
He stays with the Wickfields.
After supper, when Agnes and Mrs Heep leave, Heep says that he wants to marry Agnes.
Mr Wickfield gets angry and refuses, but the next morning he apologises to Uriah.
