  Copperfield goes to see Dr Strong.
He tells Copperfield that he will work his hardest and he is not to give up.
Then he suggests that Copperfield might like to work on his dictionary with him, two hours in the morning and two to three hours in the evening, weekends off.
Traddles and Copperfield try to help Mr Dick – they pay him to copy out his memorial - but removing all references to King Charles the first from it.
Copperfield gets a letter from Micawber through Traddles saying that he has found a promising job.
They meet him at the Gray’s Inn Road. Micawber says that he is going to help Heep in Canterbury.
