CHAPTER 25 :  GOOD AND BAD ANGELS

Summary
ELPENOR EDITIONS IN PRINT
Copperfield gets an invitation from Agnes to meet him.
She tells him that she forgives him for last night.
Copperfield says that she is his good Angel.
Agnes warns Copperfield that Steerforth is his bad Angel, but he won’t listen.
She goes on to say that Heep is planning to go into business with her father, but subtly, trying to overpower him.
Mr and Mrs Waterbrook own the place in which this conversation is taking place.
They invite them both to dinner with plenty of other guests, such as Heep.
Traddles is there (from Salem House).
Copperfield walks home with Heep.
It is quite clear that Copperfield hates Heep because of what he is doing to Mr Wickfield.
Heep then confesses that he loves Agnes.
He stays the night because it is too late to go back to his boarding house.
During the night, Copperfield keeps having the urge to put the poker through him.
