I am looking for Charles Dickens' favorite work and facts to back it up for a report.

If you mean the favorite of his works, then David Copperfield is the answer - read his own preface at https://www.ellopos.net/dickens/copperfield_text.htm

If you mean his favorites of other authors then here is a list

The Bible, Arabian Nights, Shakespeare's Works, Goldsmith's The Vicar of Wakefield, Fielding's Tom Jones, and Defoe's Robinson Crusoe.

I don't know the facts that support this list, which I found at talkingto
but you can ask for them at the address above
