hi everyone I have to write a research paper for the university and must be about 80 pages and I have to choose a topic that I would like to write about.
my problem is that is hard to find something new to write about David Copperfield that hasn´t already been written ...any ideasor hints would be of great help.
please email me.
thanks so much
Claudia

Hi Claudia,

The challenge is to write something interesting and original about subjects already discussed. Otherwise, even if you manage to discover the most unknown topic, the result will be insignificant. Therefore, do not search for a new topic, but for a fresh and original way of yours to discuss any topic you like. This is really difficult - but you won't regret the time you will devote to writing your paper.

thanks yes that´s true I was actually going to discuss the good and evil in David Copperfield but after my teacher said that it is rather a general theme and not to scientifical I was kind of confused...

If you are interested in good and evil, you could perhaps think about "differences of evil" in David Copperfield, comparing some of Dickens' most interesting evil characters.
