Having a brain storming session in the office, trying to establish the christian name of Mr Barkis.
Can anybody help?

I never thought about it before, but I am certain that Dickens never gives him a Christian name!

Dickens never gave him a first name. However I read somewhere he is based on a real Blunderstone carrier called Barker. It did not say the first name of this person.
