You who cannot hide
Is it time, or was it eternity
That brought you here before me

For can you tell me what it is
That summoned you into this void
I look upon, this angel of light

For why the troubled sadness
I see, yet cannot ask you
Why you cannot cease moving

But from what, and to where
Are you now this cursed or blessed
Creature captured like an exotic animal

You too will never be at home
In this frame, you who learn not the truth
But the opposite, of our ignorance

Yet still, you never have moved
Nor could be made to, by what you see
In us, is it not this pure strife, you fear most
