stories that cloud the truth
are like rain patches
on the pavement
evaporating into steam
climbing towards the steps of the sun
mists amass into amorphous gases
blur the view of the vanishing point
of a 3D perspective.
Eagle eyes that read
to the end of the line
will wonder
whether samples of saliva collected
from the media presenters
placed on petri dishes
and under the microscope
will reveal much:
is it part of a broader spectrum
run of the mill media-virus
or simply word-bacteria ?
with poise and confidence
our mettle unrattled
confidence will accrue
in the distillation process
when carbon from newspaper-ashes
provides a good filter
to decant the contaminants
and reveal original message
not expressed for public consumption.
