Sand Castles - ( Sardine, or Napoleonic Sonnet )

Tower of sand begins to crumble
as waves roll onto the shore spent;
erect walls have become too bent,
my hands have tried to make them stable.

I will try to build a new castle,
it may take few a hours, I know
but summer started the sun glows,
and really it won't be a hassle.

But first the sunscreen must be spread
lest we should turn a lobstrous red.
Temperatures will reach a high
we certainly don't want to fry.

I will build the castle later on,
when seaside crowds have been and gone.
