Hello everyone

I was reading your posts regarding Christ's return. Someone said that we shouldn't be concerned with when Jesus will return. We don't know that precise moment. For all we know, it could be today or 15 years from now. That should make us ready everyday, but I think we become complacent.
In Revelation, the angels praise God eternally by saying, "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." I once was experiencing what I think was a spiritual attack. I could think of nothing to pray except for those same words that the angels are now saying. I was persistent in that prayer and God delivered me out of that dark hour.

He was, is, and is to come?
Truly unfathomably beyond my comprehension

Hi friend,

I think that these words should not abase you.
First of all, God, being eternal was, is and will be.
What we pray for in the prayer Jesus Christ learnt us is the coming of Lord's kingdom. That means that he is to come to rule on this earth. And that's all.
I am glad that you pray - it is of huge importance for our spiritual life.
Yesterday I met my best friend and he formulated the necessity of prayer - we should pray God at least because while we pray we realize our real necessities.
I think that you are happy person - you need only Jesus Christ.

Sorry to Spoil the party gentlemen,

If iam not mistaken this is a creative writing forum for prose/poetry for exploration of ideas not a Religious forum , If you want to pray and relate experiences you best visit other sites to post your experiences.

so unless you care to write with interesting original ideas or expressions

dont waste our time

I'm sorry as well, dear friend.

May be I am mistaken, but I think that meaning of forum is that of the place we discuss some things.
Perhaps am wrong, but I see nobody replying to each other.
All of us, brought here, just look at these writings.
What you wrote is really interesting, but nobody comments on them. I wonder why - may be because there is no community. That's why I think it is quite poetical to create some human boundages between us in order to make poetry real.

Sorry if I may appear rough.

Victor.

P.S. May be, it is really recommended to discuss just about poetry, but there is no analysis of it.
I am ready to start discussions on yours, if you would like it. Simply I am afraid to be wrong.
