The Centaur Mentor

The good news is the thunder
in your forehead that you have
complained about will go away.

Memorize these instructions.

Ask a family member, or friend
to strip a small portion of
willow bark, so it can be
ground into a fine powder.
You will swallow this with water
from a fresh stream.

The taste is bitter, but know
this will turn to be sweet!

The raging storm in your forehead
and temples will cease.
You will soon have the energy
again to arise from bed.

Now for the next matter,
which is more internal
and requires some effort
on your part.

Till now I see you
have deadened your vitality
with too much thinking!

Thinking is useful for
everyday survival. However,
realize you are not
"your thoughts", they are mere tool.

You are a Being that has essence.

I want you to observe yourself,
that is, what you do and what you think,
without judgment. And to create
some space in the room of your mind,
that is move out all the memories
of the troubles with the Archon and the Demes.

Now use your senses fully,
look around you
but don't interpret.
See the light, colors, shapes, textures
and be aware of the silence presence
of each thing, and the space
that allows everything to be.

Listen to your breathing,
the in and out of each breathe
and exhalation. You are alive
and are living in this 'presence'
and not some mental abstraction
you have concocted.

Please no silver talons, I ask for
no payment for my services.
More than anything, I prefer to
see you get well.

So the next time you visit Delos,
the sanctuary of Apollo,
And as you amble along the avenue of Lions,
to the temple of The Athenians,
experience the present-moment,
free from unhappiness and struggles,
with a new quality of love and care.

She didn't really know herself, didn't often look inside her, what for?
Never saw anything in there to be admired or loved.
This way she thought she could cease the pathetic sight of failures and losses,
coiling her with theriomorphic designed curtains, blinding her even in daylight.

She firstly felt his hands. To be touched as a flower, an unfamiliar way to wake up.
Unknown relief mantled her terror as she opened her eyes.
His persisting call, "Look at me and you will know this is not but a night mare;
it is not you, not really; I know you, I can see beauty in you!", would be heard again?
