IN THE BRIEF notes that discuss these articles, we also have an indirect glance at the ‘logic’ of the Pope, the ‘logic’ that divided Christianity first into Orthodox and Catholic Churches, and then divided the Catholic Church to the hundreds of Protestant fragments, bringing Europe to the mess that it is today and since long ago, desperately now trying to achieve a political union, not for friendship in truth, but just to avoid more wars. It is common knowledge that the western peoples have lived more or less as orphans, alienated from the root of Christianity. For whole centuries they have been suffering the cold touch of papacy. However, they can't avoid it by becoming even colder. This way they just follow and confirm the papacy, as if there existed any kind of 'protection', with the miserable task to despise, or distort, or neglect the truth.
