The Gift of Tongues Project has two aims: first to be a primary source of all the information penned by the Church Fathers and later writers on the subject. Secondly it is to trace the evolution of the dogma of tongues from inception until now.
It contains works in their original language plus their English translations. The problem is there is a serious lack of Church Fathers translated into English which negatively affects this topic and so many others.
So its secondary ambition is to provide English translations on the subject where none have ever existed, and links to those that are already available. Many English translations have been provided over the years by me, but it is a slow process. This is where your help could greatly help draw this project to a close.
Translations are still required for John Chrysostom, John of Damascus, Oecumenius Triccae, Theophylacti of Bulgariae and Basilli Magni. If you have experience in Greek translation work, interested in the subject and some time, your help would greatly be appreciated.
If you want more info or you are an avid reader whose curiosity wants definitive answers to the elusive tongues dogma, the Gift of Tongues Project may be a good place to start.
