I'm new to this, teaching myself Koine Greek at the moment and very happy to have found this forum.

I would like to know what form of Greek, Koine, Attic or the Greek of Homer, was used by such playwrights as Aristophanes Eurpides, Sophocles and Aeschylus?

Glad to have you with us!

In general we can say that these works are written in Attic Greek, but keep in mind that the Choruses of the tragedies are based in a form of Doric Greek.
