When I talk about something being subjective, I mean that it is all a matter of my own opinion. The historical course of the development of 'science' has been to gain a greater objectivity to the universe, and all that is not oneself. That would be so as to see clearly without the confounding influence of misinterpretation of the evidence. The objects of such an investigation ends up including God who (like everything created by God) would exist if I did not. That would be the meaning I'd assign to the word "objective."
