The Hippopotamus
plants a hypothesis
of hypochondria
and makes
the feet tree trunks
in the idle river:
submerged to the eyeballs
slow plodding thoughts
crush any current
movements of change

As the sea foam gently floating is pulled back out unwilling from the shore
So our souls without rhyme or reason touch in the darkness blindly once more
