Vulture kid
The prizewinner of the photo called
"vulture kid" - which can be seen on your website - is a photographer, who took this scene into the
black box, and left the scene directly afterwards. The vulture stayed: it waited so that its natural work could be done. What a difference!
The stunning effect of this photo is NOT the vulture, waiting for the death of this starving
Negro child. The stunning effect is that the testifying human being who could have helped by leaving
apparatuses aside and lifting the child on his arms to carry it where it could have been fed, that this
testifying human being turned away and was satisfied having got the photo!
God stayed with the child, in the shape of a vulture. Devil smiled and went away in the shape of a photographer. The
prizewinner is by this a failing heart. The price is worthless without the living testimony of
love.
