Freeware downloads /Sound
Audiograbber is a program that
copies music and stores it on the harddisk. Its main purpose is to copy music
from CD. It copies the music digitally, and it includes functions to check that
the copies made are true to the original. Not all CD-ROM drives can however read
digital audio so there is also an option to copy the music through the soundcard
with a slight sound degradation. It is also possible to copy sound via the
soundcard from an external source, like a turntable or a radio. Tracks can be
saved as wav files or converted to MP3 or WMA files with external programs like
Fraunhofers L3enc or internal codecs like Fraunhofers acm CODEC, BladeEnc's
freeware MP3 DLL, the LAME freeware MP3 DLL, or Microsofts Windows Media Audio
codec.

Rainbow Folders allows you to change the color of the icon representing a chosen folder to any color you like. You can colorize unlimited number of folders - each into a different color. So you can e.g. colorize to red all important folders, then colorize all frequently visited folders to green etc. Also the effect of colorizing folders is not only visible in Explorer but in the whole system, so also in any directory selection tree, and open/save dialog in any Windows application. You can also set an extra warning when someone will be trying to delete a colorized folder, and optional text that will 'pop up' when the cursor stops above the folder's icon for a while.
