Does anyone know which versions are used for parts of Genesis not covered by LXX B in Brenton's translation (and probably others)? I am particularly interested in Genesis 5 and Genesis 11 (the genealogies). Brenton cites the variants in LXX A for the chronological data, so Alexandrinus is not the base text. Brenton states his translation is based on the Vatican edition, but these chapters are missing from the Vatican codex. I would grateful for an academic reference for this problem. (NETS Introduction just states that a "diplomatic" version was used). Thanks.
