Can you tell me how the Ancient Greeks spelled Homer's name? Thanks.

They spelled it Homeros (Ὅμηρος).

There is a page to listen to audio files for each Greek letter, several Greek words and phrases, get directions on transliteration and accents, and get more help on www.ellopos.net/elpenor/lessons/lesson1.asp">Greek pronunciation.
