In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."
Why in "the way" is the article feminine and the noun itself masculine?

Not all nouns ending in -ος are masculine. Third declension nouns ending in -ος can be both feminine and masculine. Ὁδὸς is feminine. Cf. www.ellopos.net/elpenor/lessons/strong3.asp" target="_blank">https://www.ellopos.net/elpenor/lessons/strong3.asp

Hi,

It is interesting to me that some scholars believe the earliest Christians simply called their religion "The Way".
