I am searching for the definition of ελέησον (eleison), I want answers from people who know very good Greek. There should be many meanings to this word. |

Dear Gheorghe,
George knows very good Greek. The verb is ἐλεῶ, meaning "I have mercy" and the form ἐλέησον is the imperative (2nd singular person). Now, if you want other meanings, go to the Dictionarry of Liddel & Scott and suit yourself. |
